MGM Consulting Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Water Resource Engineer. The successful candidate will lead all aspects of MGM’s water resource projects and provide technical leadership to junior staff. Ideally, the successful candidate will be involved in a variety of projects including watercourse engineering, stormwater management, floodplain analysis, sub-watershed studies, environmental impact studies, and erosion and sediment control design.
Responsibilities:
- – Maintain communication with stakeholders and project managers regarding projects,
- – Mentoring less experience staff,
- – Assist in the preparation of proposals and work closely with clients,
- – Work on multiple project simultaneously,
- – Prepare and review engineering calculations, hydrologic, and hydraulic models using industry software,
- – Complete detailed designs and provide contract administration relating to water resource.
Qualifications & Skills:
- – An undergraduate degree in civil engineering from an accredited university,
- – 3+ years of experience relating to water resource projects is preferred,
- – Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil3D required,
- – Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. highly beneficial,
- – Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to maintain professional and effective working relationships with project Owner, Client, and teams from other disciplines,
- – Strong organizational, personnel, project task, and time management skills.
